How do you get customers to your website?
There are many ways to market your products and services online. We will consider two of these methods of marketing.
1) Direct Advertising
In most cases you are in control in analysing your response advertising success or

is that you want customers to respond to 3 things.
Buy a product you are selling
Register for an account to enable you to market present and future products to them
Supply you with their contact details in return for a free product you may offer them
In all of these hints you aim at a similar result, customer relationship. Knowing that potential customers visiting your website the first time may not necessarily buy from you, you may want to entice them to give their details so you can market your product to them at a later date. In some cases you may offer potential customers incentive such as vouchers and free gifts to get them register their details with you, Some companies offer free brochures relevant to their products and services to get customers details. Others are offers knowledge base eBooks and tools at minimum or no cost to them.
2) Pay Per Click Advertising
Pay Per Click Advertising is one method that case instantly get customers on to your
website. Advertisers or business owners bid on "keywords" that are relevant to their
products or services. Their aim is that shoppers would type such keywords in a search
bar when they are looking for their type of products or service. For example, an
advertiser selling all kind of watches may bid on the keyword “ Rolex Watch” with
the aim of getting customers who are looking specifically for Rolex Watches. The
potential customers type in the keyword Rolex Watches, will be shown all website
links that are bidding on that keyword. The advertisers aim is that these customers
will see their ad, click on it and buy their product “Rolex Watch”. These ads are
called "sponsored links" or "sponsored ads" and appear next to and sometimes above
the natural or organic search result pages. The advertiser pays only when a potential
customer clicks on the ad.

Pay per click advertising can be very expensive but can also be cost effective depending
on how one approach it. Popular keywords can bid high also using this advertising
model may be open to abuse through click fraud, although recently Google and other
search engines have implemented automated systems to guard against this. Advertisers
always need to regularly monitor and measure the performance of this form of advertising
in order not to be wasting money unnecessarily. NOTE: 1) Set a budget, 2) Give it
